Lionel Cuzenic is a singer-songwriter who also attracts attention thanks to his intelligent arrangements of standards, in which he excels both on guitar and vocals.
His voice is quite distinctive and sometimes recalls that of the late Bon Scott.

A white Blues Rocker voice that would rediscover its roots, in short

(Doctor Blues magazine).

Clarksdale, Mississippi, March 2000...dobro in hand...a local guy approaches and asks me what style of music I play...I tell him I play blues. He walks away, bursting out laughing. The Blues is a music of interbreeding, in perpetual mutation! It has no color, age, or language.

Influenced by blues and folk music, I like to mix them together. Peter Mulvey, Williams Brooks, and Jeffrey Foucault haunt my record collection.
